我們的記憶是由腦中的神經元和它們之間的連接構成。當我們學習或體驗某件事時，相關的神經元會被激活、連接，就是我稱為的烙印。這些神經元連接組合起來的「記憶痕跡」，慢慢地形成一個個烙印沙丘，再隨著重覆使用與激活這些神經元，沙丘慢慢結實，形式島嶼。 這些島嶼之間的關連連接橋越多，入口就越充足，思考時能回想起這段記憶的機會就越大。而每次重新回憶及使用這些連接時，這個島嶼的地基就會越穩固，亦有可能形式新的連接橋。 而當兩個看似沒關係的神經元烙印島嶼連接起來時，新的洞察力（Insight）就因而形成。

捉緊快閃靈感的方法：寫下神經元烙印的入口: 我們的思念、想法、靈感，往往會在腦海中飛快閃過。如果可以捉緊這念頭，往往會擴展出一段新想法、新構想、或與現有的想法連結起新的神經元通訊通道。 問題是，怎樣捉緊這些快閃思念。我會用紙筆、或長開的 iPad、或長開的手寫 eInk 電子紙。然後在閃過思念時極速寫下關於這念頭的一兩個關鍵字。又或者在街外時，馬上拿起 To-Do 軟件，將最重要的關鍵字打上。 這樣，就算馬上有別的事情要做，只要這個關鍵字在，忘碌完再回來處理時，就可以順藤摸瓜，從這個入口，重新激活起剛剛在腦內神經元之間閃過的微弱痕跡，剛才的靈感便會重新浮現出來。 所以我捉緊快閃靈感的方法是留下入口，否則，門都沒有。

每逢我拿著書，遇到朋友時，就會比較容易打開平時不太會談的話題。通常朋友會好奇我在看甚麼書，然後話題便會圍繞著書本標題而展開。 如果是愛書之人，話題就會變成書中的內容，以及引伸至大家閱讀過的其他書籍，進行廣泛的討論。 如果不是愛書之人，我就會把書的內容引申到生活中的點滴，轉變成生活化的討論。

我習慣使用To-Do來撰寫快速筆記，原因有以下： 一， To-Do是其中一個最常開的軟件，所以是最容易存取到的軟件，也是很可能一直長開而存在於記憶體中沒有關掉的軟件。符合快速記錄所需要的快速打開。 二，快速記錄即是正在等待琢磨的原材料，所以本身也是一個To-Do Task，文字等待被進一步擴展，然後放到輸出的位置。所以存放於待辦事項中也是合理。

After using Bear writer for days, I decided to go back to Ulysses. It is more robust and bug free.
